Montblanc 226

The 226 (see this posting for the logic behind the Montblanc numbering system) was made in Denmark between 1941 and 1954. The #6 nib has no iridium tip and was in rough shape when I acquired the pen – but was brought back into excellent condition by a friend.

Typical of the 222, 224, and 226, this pen has no imprints apart from the “MONT BLANC” and mountain on the cap. The pen is a button filler and is made of celluloid.
