Hugo Grün silver desk set

This is a desk set comprised of a nib holder, a letter opener (in ivory) and a wax seal (not yet engraved). The “H Gr.” hallmark indicated that it was made by Hugo Grün, a silversmith working in Copenhagen from 1918 – 1937 (although his workshop continued to produce works until the 1980’s). The hallmark (seen on the nib holder in the photo below) indicates that it is “830 S” – or what is known as “Scandinavian silver“, with a content of 83% pure silver and 17% copper and other metals.
