Parker #25L
This Parker #25L was made around 1919. It’s a button filler made of ebonite (therefore the 2) with a number 5 nib (hence the 5), and it’s the Long version.
The “Jack Knife” imprint is still visible on the cap, but the “Lucky Curve” imprint on the barrel is worn to near-invisibility. The current blind cap is not the correct one, but I’ve ordered a replacement from Five Star Pens, so it’s on its way.
The very tip of one of the tines of the nib is missing, so this one won’t be used for writing, sadly. Also, the curved part of the Lucky Curve feeder was sawn off years ago, a common practice in the old days when fixing these pens.
The pen was first listed in the 1919 Parker catalogue on Page 8.
