Miller Royal 408

This Royal 408 was made in Denmark by the Miller Pen Company. It has a somewhat unique filling system called a stretch vacumatic which I’ve described in this posting.

The nib is two-toned, although the transition from silver to gold is not a sharp line as on other Miller pens. It writes smoothly and has a nice flex, as can be seen in the writing sample.

The pen is a 12-sided doric design. Both the cap band and the clip show some signs of brassing. The imprint is slightly worn, but readable.
